At The School Child, our mission is to ensure that every child, irrespective of their socio-economic background, has access to quality education.
The School Child is a Non-profit organisation created in 2021 and officially went operational in 2024. We assist and support vulnerable children to have access to formal education, targeting those in rural communities—especially girls.
Over 800 youngsters from Nursery to Secondary schools across diverse localities in Cameroon’s Northwest and Southwest Regions have benefited from the program. We currently have four active staffers on ground with plans to expand.

The mission of this non-governmental organization is to sponsor and support the education of underprivileged children in the targeted rural areas. More specifically, the foundation aims at improving the conditions of learning by Providing basic study material, pay fees and raise funds to build more schools.
The vision of the School Child is in line with the Cameroon National Development plan for 2020-2030. This vision aims to "Contribute significantly in offering quality education especially to the girl child in the rural areas of the North West, South West, Adamawa, North and Far North regions of Cameroon".

Spending the long holidays with my late grandmother, I developed an attitude to help those in need. My father gave me the opportunity of education, and now I am committed to ensuring that geography and gender do not stop the rural child from achieving their dreams.
